Debbie Muir
B.Ed Hons Clinic and Pilates Manager |
I was an infant and nursery teacher for 30 years, teaching in Berkshire and later on in Uzbekistan and Latvia in their International schools. After a varied and happy career in education, I was keen to do something different and now manage the Clinic.
I have been a patient of Trudi’s for many years due to sports injuries and car accidents and she has helped me with both back and shoulder problems so I hope I am very sympathetic to people's’ needs when they are in pain. It has been valuable to learn a great deal about the human body from the Libra team and I love managing the clinic. It was also exciting for me to open "Libra Pilates" in April 2016, to aid rehabilitation for our patients and to offer group exercise to maintain and strengthen the body. It has been great getting to know so many of our patients and joining in with the Pilates classes. I wish I’d joined Pilates years ago-it has really helped me. |

Mchiro DC MMCA McTimoney College of Chiropractic Chiropractor |
I am a January 2021 graduate from the McTimoney College of Chiropractic.
I have always had an interest in the human anatomy but I soon realised that traditional medicine wasn’t what I envisioned myself doing. Whilst my younger brother was being treated for shoulder dystocia as a result of birthing difficulties, I witnessed the success of Chiropractic intervention. From then I developed an interest and felt this was my calling. During my masters placement, I was fortunate to treat a vast range of individuals, from teenagers displaying poor posture and athletes with sports injuries to the elderly who are a breath of fresh air, wise and full of wit. I have witnessed patients reducing their reliance on their conventional medication whilst realising the importance of self healing through Chiropractic treatment. I love how no working day is ever the same, there is plenty of diversity and challenge on a daily basis and I love that in my job. I take pride in making the difference to patient wellbeing and improving quality of life whilst acting in their best interest. |
Outside of clinic, I believe in giving back so I have been a first aid volunteer with the Red Cross and have carried out humanitarian work in Peru. I am also a black belt in Southern Shotokan Karate. In my spare time I love travelling, cooking and spending time with my family.
I am born and bred in the UK however my ancestral roots are in Punjab, India, therefore I am multilingual. My mother tongue is English and Punjabi, however Hindi and Urdu are languages I can also converse in. |
